Q & A

Q: Who are the performers contracted for the Country Music Cruise so far?
A: So far Vince Gill, Kenny Rogers, Patty Loveless, Jo Dee Messina, Ronnie Milsap, Restless Heart, Andy Griggs, Ty Herndon, Jamie O’Neal and Lorianne Crook, Larry Gatlin and Wade Hayes have signed contracts. One unique feature or Entertainment Cruise Productions events is the fact that performers are on the ship the entire cruise and interact with guests. You could see Vince Gill in the dining room, Keny Rogers by the pool or Patty Loveless in the casino. You just never know.

Q: When is the cruise and where does it sail from?
A: The cruise is scheduled for January 19-26, 2014, sailing from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Q: What are the ports of call?
A: This seven-day cruise will call on St. Barth, St. Thomas and Holland America’s private island - Half Moon Cay.

Q: What is the cost of the cruise ... and what is the deposit?
A: Cost of the cruise is based on cabin/suite category, and will be announced on January 7, 2013. The deposits are also based on category: Penthouse/Suites - $650 per person; Verandah cabins - $550 per person; Oceanview & Interior cabins - $450 per person.

Q: Are there payment plans available?
A: Yes, there are three payment plans - standard, monthly & quarterly - and all payments are non-refundable.

Q: Are there discounts for booking early?
A: Yes, those discounts will range from $75-to-$200 per person, depending on the category.

Q: Is there a deadline for deposits?
A: No, but these cruises sell quickly. The first Soul Train Cruise sold out in a record 75 days, and the Country Music Cruise is expected to go even faster. Traditionally the lower categories at each level go quickest.

Q: Tell me about the ship?
A: The cruise is on Holland America’s Eurodam, an 86,000 ton ship built in 2008 and holds 2,104 passengers, perfect for the Country Music Cruise. Eurodam will replace Westerdam for most of Entertainment Cruise Productions impressive portfolio of music cruises beginning in 2014 - including The Jazz Cruise, The Smooth Jazz Cruises and The Soul Train Cruise. Holland America is a premium cruise line known for it’s culinary excellence, larger-than-average staterooms and stellar service.

Q: I'm in a wheelchair ... can I still go on this cruise?
A: Absolutely! Modern cruise ships are handicap-accessible and have cabins designed for those with disabilities. These amenities include wider doors for wheelchair entry to cabins; bathrooms with showers at floor level and big enough for wheelchairs, etc. And access to everything around the ship is within reach ... including the theater where shows will take place. However, guest should remember that these cabins are a premium and need to be booked as quickly as possible. In addition, your condition needs to be verified. As far as wheelchair and oxygen rentals are concerned, there are companies that provide those things that Allure Quest Travel Experience can take care of for you.

Q: What if I make my deposit, and then unforeseen circumstances prevent me from taking the cruise. Do I lose my deposit?
A: Yes, all monies paid are non-refundable.  Allure Quest Travel Experience highly recommends travel insurance to protect your investment. Travel insurance protects you for a number of covered reasons. Insurance can be purchased individually or as a group.

Q: Do I need a passport?
A: Yes, yes ... and yes! Actually, you do not need a passport to board the ship, but you will need it to get off the ship at St. Barths. You could stay on the ship at that port, but just make it easy on yourself and get a passport. In fact, Allure Quest Travel Experience and Entertainment Cruise Productions highly recommends passports. If for some reason you have to fly back into the USA (family emergency, illness, etc.) you absolutely will not be allowed back into the country without it. And if you have a passport you should take a photo copy with you.
