Vince Gill

Picture
Vince Gill has achieved commercial success and fame both as frontman to the country rock band Pure Prairie League in the 1970s, and as a solo artist beginning in 1983, where his talents as a vocalist and musician have placed him in high demand as a guest vocalist, and a duet partner. Gill has recorded more than 20 studio albums, charted over 40 singles on the U.S. Billboard charts as Hot Country Songs, and has sold more than 22 million albums. He has been honored by the Country Music Association with 18 CMA Awards, including two Entertainer of the Year awards and five Male Vocalist Awards. Gill has also earned 20 Grammy Awards, more than any other male Country music artist. In 2007, Gill was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Ronnie Milsap

Picture
Ronnie Milsap was one of country music's most popular and influential performers of the 1970s and 1980s. He became country music's first well-known blind singer, and one of the most successful and versatile country "crossover" singers of his time, appealing to both country and pop music markets with successful songs that incorporated pop, R&B, and rock and roll elements. Milsap’s biggest crossover hits include "It Was Almost Like a Song,' "Smoky Mountain Rain," "(There's) No Getting Over Me,' "I Wouldn't Have Missed It for the World," "Any Day Now," and "Stranger in My House," among others. He is credited with six Grammy Awards and 40 number one country hits, third to George Strait and Conway Twitty.

Kenny Rogers

Picture
Though he has been most successful with country audiences, Kenny Rogers has charted more than 120 hit singles across various music genres and topping the country and pop album charts for more than 200 individual weeks in the USA.
Two of his albums, The Gambler and Kenny, are featured in the About.com poll of "The 200 Most Influential Country Albums Ever".

He has received numerous such awards as the AMAs, Grammys, ACMs and  CMAs,  as well as a lifetime achievement award for a career spanning six decades. He has also acted in a variety of movies and television shows, most notably the title roles in Kenny Rogers as The Gambler and the MacShayne series as well as his appearance on The Muppet Show.

Patty Loveless

Picture
Since her emergence on the country music scene in late 1986 with her first (self-titled) album, Loveless has been one of the most popular female singers of the Neotraditional country movement, although she has also recorded albums in the Country pop and Bluegrass genres.
To date, Loveless has charted more than forty singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including five Number Ones. In addition, she has recorded fourteen studio albums (not counting compilations); in the United States, four of these albums have been certified platinum, while two have been certified gold.

She has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1988. Loveless is also a distant cousin of Loretta Lynn and Crystal Gayle.

Jo Dee Messina

Jo Dee Messina has charted nine Number One singles on the Billboard country music charts. She has been honored by the Country Music Association, the Academy of Country Music and has been nominated for two Grammy Awards. She was the first female country artist to score three multiple-week Number One songs from the same album. To date, she has two Platinum and three Gold-certified albums by the RIAA.

Messina debuted in 1996 with the single Heads Carolina, Tails California. Her album was certified Gold by the RIAA. Her second album, I'm Alright  produced five Top 10 Country hits between 1998 in 1999 and sold over a million copies in America. Since her debut, six of her singles have peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Country singles chart and five of her albums have received a certification by the RIAA or the CRIA. She has sold 5 million records worldwide.

Restless Heart

Restless Heart has released seven studio albums, two greatest hits albums, and a live album which is only available on their website. Their second through fifth albums are all certified gold by the RIAA. Twenty-six of their singles have entered the Billboard country charts, including six Number One hits. Two more singles were released only to the Adult Contemporary format, with the higher-peaking of those two being the Number One "Tell Me What You Dream", a collaboration with saxophonist Warren Hill in 1993. Their greatest crossover hit with country and pop music fans is the single "When She Cries" which was released in late 1992.

Except for a brief reunion for one album in 1998, the band remained inactive until 2003, when Dittrich, Gregg, Innis, Jennings, and Stewart all reunited. A year later, they released Still Restless, the first album since 1990 to utilize the entire five-piece lineup, on Koch Records. This album produced one more country chart single before the label's closure.

Jamie O'Neal

Picture
Since the release of her debut album in 2000, Jamie O’Neal has been impacting country music with her soulful voice and the immense amount of passion behind every word she sings. O’Neal became a household name with her single, “There Is No Arizona,” which set her path to stardom on fire with multiple No. 1 hits and many career accolades to follow, including four Grammy nominations.

As she enters into another year in her illustrious career, O’Neal finds herself venturing into new territory as she launches her new independent record label, Momentum Label Group. While O’Neal will serve as the label head, she will also produce music for some of the label's roster.

Lorianne Crook

Crook's career began when she teamed up with Charlie Chase in 1983 to host the nationally syndicated This Week In Country Music. Later, the show was seen on weekends on TNN, The Nashville Network. The hosts then began hosting the daily show, Crook & Chase, which was named Best Entertainment News Program by Cable Guidemagazine in 1988. Crook hosted TNN's flagship primetime live show, Music City Tonight and in 1996 went into national syndication again with their daily show in Los Angeles. Crook remained with TNN until its ending as a country network in 2000.

Andy Griggs

Picture
He has released three albums for RCA Records Nashville (You Won't Ever Be Lonely, Freedom, and This I Gotta See) and a fourth (The Good Life) for Montage Music Group. These four albums have accounted for 13 singles on the Billboard country charts, of which the highest are "You Won't Ever Be Lonely" and "She's More", both which peaked at number 2. He also charted "Grow Young With You," a cut from the soundtrack to the film Where the Heart Is.

In 2007, Griggs signed to his second recording contract, this time with Montage Music Group. His first album for the label, The Good Life, produced two low-charting singles in "Tattoo Rose" (co-written by Cole Deggs, lead singer of Cole Deggs & the Lonesome) and "What If It's Me". Three years later, he issued "Can I Get an Amen".

Ty Herndon

Picture
Signed to Epic Records in 1995, Herndon made his debut that year with the Number One single "What Mattered Most", followed by the release of his first album, also entitled What Mattered Most. This album was followed one year later by Living in a Moment, which produced his second number one country hit in its title track.

Herndon released three more albums for Epic, recorded a Christmas album in 2002 for the Riviera label, followed by his fifth studio album and a second Christmas album for the Titan Pyramid label. Journey On followed in 2010.
